Hardware
DJI Phantom 4 Pro
This is the go-to DJI mapping drone. 20MP camera, 4K video capable of shooting in 60FPS and 120FPS in 1080P for video production.
Highly versatile with rapid deployment, this drone is capable of mapping large sites. 30 minute battery life; we carry 6 batteries and can therefore cover lots of ground easily. Maps are very high resolution and quality. Resolution helps also with marking GPS points on the ground in the software. Resolution up to <3cm/pix.
DJI Phantom 3 Pro
Backup drone to the go-to 4 pro if down and in need of repair/maintenance. 23 minute flight time and with multiple batteries for cycle-charge when flying large areas. Maps are lower resolution though we use GPS for ground measurement and to scale the model in relative terms, so as long as GPS points can be marked correctly in the software accuracy is maintained. 3.5cm/pix.
DJI S1000
Test platform towards preparing the DJI M600 Pro for work-ready scenarios. Heavy lift drone built for carrying DSLR cameras and film cameras.
DJI M600 Pro
A3 Flight Controller has triple modular reduncancy and and diagnostic algorithms comparing sensor data from three sets of GNSS units. Allows for incredibly precise control of aircraft and accurate data for very stable flight performance. The result means flying this drone is like flying the Phantom 4 Pro with the additional capability of heavy-lift. Capable of carrying DSLR cameras and film cameras and a suitable safe platform for LiDAR.
DJI Zenmuse Z15-5D III HD
Gimbal for carrying Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III Camera
Professional grade 22.3 MP full-frame DSLR Canon Camera.
Canon 35mm lense
Leica GPS Rover
For precision collection of GPS points in the field. Rapid deployment as it connects to a remote base station and so no need to set up a base.
